Bill Wall's Early Life

It truly takes a motorbiker to comprehend what a biker wants to wear and look like. For Bill Wall, knowing what it meant culturally and mentally to be a biker was simply second nature. Prior to venturing into the design world in 1985, Bill Wall worked as a crew member on a small fishing vessel, tried out part time acting & construction work. Following an unfortunate accident during which he broke his foot, Bill Wall lost all his engagements & joined the ranks of the unemployed.

The shortage of funds being a major limitation, Bill had to purchase oddly sized, unwieldy scrap pieces of cloth & leather, combine them over one another & incorporate designs over to disguise the stitches; a technique which ironically inspired an entirely new style of jeans. A new style born from the resilience of Bill Wall’s determination. During this period , Bill Wall stumbled upon the lack of functional & presentable biking gear on offer, & went about creating a fashion image which bikers could be proud to adopt.

The Birth of BWL

Having headed down the path of success, Bill Wall forged on.
